Growing up in Ida B. Wells, in Chicago, Keith always had that entrepreneur drive. To earn extra
money, he would use his weekly allowance to purchase supplies to operate his bake sales. He
would sell his homemade popcorn, ice cups, lemonade and baked goods to people from the
kitchen window of his childhood home.
To help support himself while attending Loyola University Chicago, Keith made dinner plates
and deserts in his little apartment and sold them to students in the nearby dorms that longed for
home cooked meals and snack foods.
After graduating with a Bachelor’s Degree in Applied Psychology, Keith was recruited to work
for a social service agency in California. Keith spent 4 years in that field, before leaving to use
his talents in corporate America. His time spent in customer service, merchandise planning,
International sales, Retail Management and Director of Marketing lead him to realize that his
true calling was to be his own boss.
In 2002, Keith decided to take a leap of faith and leave corporate America to launch his own
gourmet popcorn company, Kettle Corn & Stuff. With the ambition to become the most
recognized kettle corn popcorn brand in California, Keith hit the road at local farmers markets,
street festivals, concerts and sporting events promoting his unique take on various sweet and
savory flavors of popcorn. It was at these events that he developed his proprietary recipes and
started to work on his brand.
Since December of 2003, Kettle Corn & Stuff has been very fortunate to have an on-going booth
at the FIG at 7th Certified Farmers Market located in downtown Los Angeles. For years, this
location has been home for Kettle Corn & Stuff and is the place where you can find us every
Thursday (except holidays). We have a strong fan base here, with loyal foodies who come every
